Healing

When in need of healing, my child and I reach out in prayer to test Jesus. We trust in him for what we need. He is making us whole.

And the people all tried to touch him, because power is coming from him and healing them all. ~ Luke 6:19

Faith

My child and I read the word of God daily. By hearing the word our faith grows. We are connected in relationship by faith.

Consequently, faith comes by hearing the message, and the message heard through the word of Christ. ~ Romans 10:17

Let Go, and Let God

Sometimes I get caught up in a net of dysregulation and fear. I stop, breathe, and redirect my thoughts towards God. I can then reconnect with my child.

My eyes are ever towards the Lord, for he will pluck my feet out of the net. ~Psalms 25:15

Christ's Light

I love and accept myself as a light filled expression of the spirit. I am free to connect with my child. We celebrate the life God has given us to live.

If then your whole body is full of light, with no part of it in darkness, it will be as full of light as when a lamp gives you light with its rays. ~ Luke 11:36

Rest

Demands can drain all my energy and take me out of relationship. I know that I can "rest in the Lord" and be refreshed- body, mind, and spirit. When refreshed, I reconnect with my child.

He said, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." ~ Exodus 33:14

Prayer

Sometimes I feel my efforts are completely ineffective. I do the best that I can and leave the outcome to God. I realize that prayer is the key to releasing God's goodness and will in the life of my child.

They long for you and pray for you because of the surpassing grace of God that he has given you. ~ Corinthians 9:14

Safety

I rest assured that God answers my prayers for protection for my child. We go through each day feeling safe and secure in God's care. Fear does not hold us back.

Like bird's hovering overhead, so the Lord of hosts will protect Jerusalem; he will protect and deliver it, he will spare and rescue it. ~Isaiah 31:5
