I pray for guidance in everything I do. I realize that God has gone before me and laid out a divine plan for me. My child and I embrace our journey together.
The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your needs in parched places. ~Isaiah 58:11

Transformed
I refuse to let old patterns of victim hood interfere with my progress. Through Christ I am constantly being transformed. Each day is an opportunity to join in support my child's transformation.
All of us, with unveiled faces, seeking the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed in the same image from one degree of glory to another, for this comes from the Lord, the spirit. ~2 Corinthians 3:18

My Heart
I let go of any thoughts or feelings that block or cloud the love that God has put in my heart. Love allows me to look past my fear reactions in my child. I can make a stronger heart connection with my child.
The Lord does not see us as mortals see; they look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7

Comfort
I received the love of God. I am comforted, strengthened, and assured in His love. I can freely express what I have received to my child.
I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will hold you with my victorious right hand. ~Isaiah 41:10
