Grace

I do not allow uncertainty to install fear in my relationship with my child. I place my trust in God when there is uncertainty in our circumstances. I move forward with my child in confidence knowing that God has a plan.

I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that has been given to you in Christ Jesus. ~ 1 Corinthians 1:4

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is God's free gift to me because I believe in Him. I freely forgive my child as I have been forgiven. Forgiveness frees us to be connected spiritually in our journey.

All the profits testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name. ~ Acts 10:43

Joy

I am filled with joy when I focus on God's goodness and blessing. I express my inner joy through my attitude and actions with my child. Together we experience the fullness of life that God intended.

I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete. ~ John 15:11

Strength

When my journey with my child becomes tiresome I turn to God. I know I can rely on God for support and guidance. He supplies all we need.

Be strong and courageous....for the Lord your God is with you where ever you go. ~ Joshua 1:9

New Ways

When I am challenged by a new situation with my child I risk to try something new. I see this as an opportunity to move beyond old ways of thinking. I am prepared through prayer.

See, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare. ~ Isaiah 42:9
