Courage

Today I choose courage. I refuse to let fear interfere in my love relationship with my child. I focus on the spirit of God in my life and trust God in all circumstances.

I have said this to you, so that in media you may have peace. In the world you face persecutions. But, take courage; I have conquered the world! ~John 16:33

Forgiveness

My past no longer plagues me. I am free to connect in love with my child. I am forgiven.

Now forgive my sin once more and pray to the Lord your God to take his deadly plague away from me. ~Exodus 10:17

Protection

Distractions of the world can move me from a state of love to a state of fear. I claim God's protection, support, and His promises. I bring this in to my relationship with my child.

He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. ~Psalm 31: 11

Trust

I let go of all the things that keep me stuck in the past - my negative expectations and doubts. They only lead to fear which takes me out of relationship with my child. I trust God to guide me forward and I expect only the best.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. ~Proverbs 3:5
