It is my responsibility to be the light in the darkness for my child. I rely on Christ to keep my heart clean and pure. I leave the fears of the past where they belong - in the past and my light shines.
For it is God who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," who has shown in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. ~2 Corinthians 4:6

Welcome
I purpose to provide a safe environment for my child. One in which he always feels welcome. We rest assured that we are welcomed by the Father.
“Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.” ~Mark 9:37

Blessings
I am thankful for the opportunities to connect in love with my child. These opportunities feed and nourish our relationship. God provides more than enough bread of life.
Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to the heaven, and blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. ~Matthew 14:19

Good News
I teach my child to reach out to others through words of support and good deeds. Together we express God’s love to others. Our relationship is strengthened by his joy.
They went out and proclaimed the good news everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by the signs that accompanied it. ~Mark 16:20

Strength
When my journey with my child becomes tiresome I turn to God. I know I can rely on God for sport and guidance. He supplies all we need.

Our Father
I no longer feel like I am parenting my child alone. I am strengthened by my spiritual connection through others in Christ. I draw my child into the family of God.
One God and father of all, who is above all and through all and in all. ~Ephesians 4:6
