Peace

By breathing and regulating peace enters in to my relationship with my child. We experience the healing power of God. God restores us - mind, body, and spirit.

Peace, peace, to the far and near, said the Lord; and I will heal them. ~ Isaiah 57:19

Forgiveness

Lack of forgiveness blocks everything that I do. I need to begin with myself and let go of the past. God's presence enables me to move forward in relationship with my child with understanding and love.

How often should I forgive? As many as seven times? Jesus said to him, "Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy seven times." Matthew 18:21-22

Harmony

I look to God when I encounter diversity in my life. His love and understanding enhances our differences. His divine plan orchestrates the differences in to harmony in our lives.

May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Jesus Christ. ~ Romans 15:5

Grace

I focus on the presence of Christ in my child to guide him through challenges. I let go of unrealistic expectations. God's grace covers all shortcomings.

Each of us were given grace according to the measure of Christ's gift. ~Ephesians 4:7

Hope

As I focus on God's presence I become renewed. Each time I am renewed I am given new life. I bring this hope into my relationship with my child.

That your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you. ~Psalm 33:22

Zeal

I teach my child to serve the Lord by my example. Service breaks the bondage of my past mistakes. It allows me to move forward with enthusiasm and zeal.

Do not lag and feel, the ardent in spirit, serve the Lord. ~ Romans 12:11

Love

I choose to view the world through the lens of God's love. I give of myself to support and uplift those around me. I am fully aware of the blessings around me, specially the blessing of my child.

May the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we abound in love for you. ~1 Thessalonians 3:12
