Strength

When my journey with my child becomes tiresome I turn to God. I know I can rely on God for support and guidance. He supplies all we need.

Be strong and courageous....for the Lord your God is with you where ever you go. ~ Joshua 1:9

New Ways

When I am challenged by a new situation with my child I risk to try something new. I see this as an opportunity to move beyond old ways of thinking. I am prepared through prayer.

See, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare. ~ Isaiah 42:9

Forgiveness

I embrace opportunities to forgive others. This is possible only because I am forgiven. I can now be an example of forgiveness for my child.

Forgive us our sins, as we forgive everyone who sins against us, and lead us not into temptation. ~ Luke 11:4

Divine Order

Events happen life of my child that I don't understand. I look for divine order as these events unfold. These are opportunities for us to experience God's power and His attention to detail.

This is the plan that is planned concerning the whole earth; and this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations. ~ Isaiah 14:26

Trust

Trusting in the Lord releases any fear that has a hold on me. Freedom from fear allows me to be a secure attachment figure for my child. We trust in the Lord together.

Trust in the Lord forever. ~ Isaiah 26:4

Joy

Joy is essential to attachment. I activate joy by first connecting with God. I can then express it at anytime and in any situation when connecting with my child in relationship.

This day is Holy to our Lord, and not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. ~ Nehemiah 8:10

God's Goodness

I sow seeds of love and positive information into my child with every opportunity. I fully expect the seeds to grow into positive, good outcomes for my child. We are blessed by God's abundance of good.

Other seed fell into good soil and brought forth good grain, growing up in increasing and yielding thirty and sixty and hundred fold. ~ Mark 4:8
