Harmony

I take responsibility to encourage and maintain loving relationships. I look for the good in all situations. I bring harmony in to my relationship with my child.

How very good and pleasant is it when kindred live together in unity! ~ Psalm 133:1

Fear

My Child and I walk through all valleys in our lives with assurance. We know our Shepard will comfort us. Fear does not run our lives.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. ~Psalm 23:4

Renewal

I choose to look for God's goodness in all challenges presented by my child. These are opportunities to strengthen our relationship and keep it alive. I am able to nurture my child's talents and abilities.

Bless the Lord, O my soul....who satisfies you with good for as long as you live so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. ~Psalm 103: 1,5

Blessings

I am thankful for the opportunities to connect in love with my child. These opportunities feed and nourish our relationship. God provides more than enough bread of life.

Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to the heaven, and blessed and broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. ~ Matthew 14:19

Letting Go

I release all worries and struggles to God. When burdens seem to heavy I rely on God to hold me up. As I let go I realize I am not parenting alone.

God is my helper, the Lord is the up lifter of my life. ~ Psalm 54:4

Grace

I focus on the presence of Christ in my child to guide him through challenges. I let go of unrealistic expectations. God's grace covers all shortcomings.

Each of us was given grace according to the measure of Christ's gift. ~ Ephesians 4:7

Harmony

I forgive myself and others for those things that have caused pain. Healing allows me to experience harmony in my relationships. I am free to give the love in my heart to my child and those around me.

Make my joy complete: be of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. ~ Philippians 2:2
