New Ways

When I am challenged in a situation with my child I risk to try something new. I see this as an opportunity to move beyond old ways of thinking. I am prepared through prayer.

See, the former things have came to pass, and new things I now declare. ~Isaiah 42:9

Love

I look at the miracle in the manger for inspiration. I am reminded of my own spiritual rebirth. I am able to bring a new meaning into my relationship with my child.

They went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the child lying in the manger. ~Luke 2:16

Abundance

The abundance of God's love allows me to share my gifts and love with others. As I pour love into my child we are both blessed with an enriched relationship. We move forward with the spirit of Thanksgiving.

Your heart shall thrill and rejoice, because the abundance of the sea shall be brought to you. ~ Isaiah 6:5

Peace

I face the storms of life connected with my child in prayer. Our distress is regulated by the Holy Spirit. We press on in peace.

Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress; he made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. ~Psalm 107: 28-29

Provision

I pray with my child for daily provisions. Our spirits and hearts are nourished through communion with God. We are free from the drain of negative thoughts and feelings.

Give us this day our daily bread. ~ Matthew 6:11

Healing

I take time to breathe deeply and relax. I receive God's healing and experience strength and vitality throughout my body. I become an expression of God to my child in all that I say and do.

Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and healthy to the body. ~ Proverbs 16:24

Fulfillment

I choose to release all that keeps me regressed and blocks my spiritual growth. I move forward with divine clarity, direction, and insight. I engage my child in activities that enhance our lives and we are fulfilled.

Lay aside immaturity, and live, and walk in the way of insight. ~ Proverbs 9:6
